Boleo

Boleo was completed in 2002 and it was carved as a single composition out of 2 blocks of balsa wood. It's varnished and sits on a varnished hardwood base. It's approximately 12 inches tall. The boleo is a complex tango move that requires a clear lead and a very flexible and precise interpretation on the part of the follower. It can be done in different manners, low or high, to the front or to the back, in a circular or linear fashion, depending on the music, the lead, the favored type of tango, and the space available.
