OUR STORY
Strictly based on Joseph Pilates' teachings, Essence Pilates classes focus on a mind-body approach to health and fitness. All classes are taught at a high level to challenge existing clients and motivate newcomers. The pace and level are constantly monitored and adjusted to individual needs to provide optimal results and a satisfying experience for everyone. We offer a variety of Pilates classes and Pilates-related workshops. Join us!

This is an intense Pilates mat class in which some props will be used to add intensity, variety, and fun to the workout while retaining its intrinsic foundation on Pilates principles and movement patterns. It's a whole-body exercise program focused on core strength, posture, balance, endurance, coordination, and flexibility. The class is taught at an intermediate-advanced level, but modifications are always offered to beginners and students with disabilities. Join us and get fit, sleep better, stand taller, and walk and move more fluidly.

Pilates on the Walk is a mind-body, all-level, standing and walking fitness class that combines the benefits of a traditional Pilates class with cardiovascular and resistance exercise.
It helps improve core strength, posture, balance, coordination, endurance, circulation, and flexibility, and it may assist with weight loss and in the prevention of osteoporosis.
It is also a fun way to get fit for summer and stay fit the whole year! No prerequisites or prior Pilates experience necessary.
Required Materials:
One 6-ft, medium strength Theraband (or similar), and one ankle loop band.

PILATES MAT - BEGINNER LEVEL

Pilates Mat is a mind-body, basic-level active movement class that helps improve core strength, posture, balance, coordination, endurance, circulation, flexibility, and overall fitness and well-being without the need of any fancy equipment. It's all about you and your connection with your physical and mental self. You can decide how challenging the class is because it's all done at your own pace. In this class I'll be demonstrating and coaching so that everyone can benefit fully from the instruction. Pilates Mat is fun and it's a great way to get fit and stay fit. No materials, prerequisites, or prior Pilates experience necessary.

This is a mind-body, all-level, standing and walking virtual Pilates class that helps improve posture, balance, coordination, endurance, circulation, and flexibility by strengthening your core and aligning your whole body. It is ideal for Argentine tango dancers and It may assist with weight loss and in the prevention of osteoporosis. The instructor is an experienced Pilates professional and an avid Argentine tango dancer of 20+ years.
Materials required for the class: one 6-ft, medium strength Theraband (or similar), and one ankle loop band.
